Analyte:Antibiotic Residue
Samples:Raw milk, cheese
The Beta-lactam ring is part of the core structure of several antibiotic families, the principal ones being the penicillins, cephalosporins, carbapenems, and monobactams, which are, therefore, also called beta-lactam antibiotics. Nearly all of these antibiotics work by inhibiting bacterial cell wall biosynthesis. The detection of veterinary drug residues such as beta-lactams in raw milk and cheese is of great concern for the dairy industry because of the potential interfering and adverse effects of antibiotic residues frequently found in raw milk and cheese.
Intended Use
The Beta-lactams ELISA Test Kit is competitive ELISA for the quantitative analysis of beta-lactams in samples of raw milk and cheese.
